Hydrothol Granular algaecide and aquatic herbicide works on both weeds and algae. Hydrothol provides contact control for submerged weeds like Coontail, pondweeds, naiad, ad hydrilla. Hydtrothol even targets filamentous algae and Chara. 20 pounds treats 2,000 to 8,000 square feet. Easy-to-use granules sink directly to target plants or algae. Great option where there is moving water such as a canal or bay area. Hydrothol can be used in combination, in rotation, or as an alternative to copper for the control of algae.
